Smart IPTV app setup
How to set up the Smart IPTV (SIPTV) app on Samsung, LG and Android TVs: find the MAC address, upload your M3U playlist, activate and fix errors.

Quick answer
Install Smart IPTV on your TV and note the MAC address it shows. On the app's official website, open the playlist upload page, enter the MAC and your M3U link, and send. Restart the app to load channels. After the trial period, a one-off activation is needed.
On this page
Smart IPTV (often called SIPTV) is a long-standing smart TV player. It does not take a login on the TV: you upload your playlist on its website.
You need your IPTV login: an Xtream Codes login (server, username, password) or an M3U link plus a guide link. IPTV Trends sends both after payment; see M3U vs Xtream Codes for which to use.
Setup
- Install Smart IPTV from your TV's app store.
- Open it and write down the MAC address.
- On the app's official website, go to the playlist upload page.
- Enter the MAC and your M3U link (and EPG link if offered), then send.
- Restart the app on the TV.
Activation
Smart IPTV offers a trial, then a one-off activation fee per TV, paid on its website.
Fixes
- "Playlist not loaded": upload again and restart the app.
- Wrong MAC: double-check the characters, including zeros and Os.
