IPTV catch up not working
Catch up not working on IPTV? Check the channel supports it, the guide matches, your device time is right and your app supports catch up. Fixes inside.

Quick answer
Catch up only works on channels that offer it, and only when the guide is matched to the channel and the device clock is correct. Check for the catch-up icon on the channel, refresh the guide, set the date and time to automatic, and use an app that supports catch up with Xtream Codes logins.
On this page
Catch up lets you play programmes that have already aired. When it fails, it is usually because one of its requirements is missing.
Catch up needs four things
- A channel that has catch up (look for the icon in the guide).
- A guide entry matched to that channel.
- A correct device clock and time zone.
- A player that supports catch up, usually with an Xtream Codes login.
Fixes
- Refresh the guide in the player.
- Set date and time to automatic and check the time zone.
- Use Xtream Codes rather than M3U; M3U playlists often lack catch-up details.
- Check the time shift setting in the app if programmes are off by an hour.
- Black screen on catch up: try a programme from the day before; very recent items may not be ready yet.

If none of this helps, message @host4k on Telegram with your device, app, the channel name and the exact error. That lets the team check the server side straight away.
