IPTV error 511 and 513: causes and fixes
IPTV errors 511 and 513 point to authentication or connection limits. What they mean, why they appear and how to clear them in TiviMate and other apps.

Quick answer
Errors 511 and 513 usually mean the server needs you to authenticate again or is refusing the connection because of a limit, such as too many simultaneous screens or a blocked address. Close other sessions, re-enter the login, restart the router and disable VPN to test.
511 ("network authentication required") and 513 are less common than 401 and 403, but they come from the same family: the server is not letting the stream start.
Causes
- A captive network such as hotel or public Wi-Fi that needs you to log in first (511).
- Too many connections on one line.
- A VPN or network address the server refuses.
Fixes
- On public Wi-Fi, open a browser and accept the network's login page first.
- Stop playback on other devices.
- Remove and re-add your login.
- Turn off VPN, or try another VPN location.
- Restart the router for a new address.
