IPTV on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One
How to watch IPTV on an Xbox Series X, Series S or Xbox One using a Microsoft Store player app. Setup steps, guide loading and controller tips.

Quick answer
Xbox consoles run IPTV players from the Microsoft Store, such as MyIPTV Player and similar apps. Install one, add your M3U link (and guide link if asked) or Xtream Codes login, and control everything with the controller or the media remote.

If the Xbox is already under your TV, it can double as your IPTV box. Xbox runs Windows-style Store apps, and a few IPTV players are made for it.
Players available on Xbox
- MyIPTV Player: free with ads, accepts M3U links and a guide address.
- Other Store players: search the Store for "IPTV". Read the listing to check whether it supports Xtream Codes and Xbox.
Set up
- Open the Microsoft Store on the Xbox and search for the player.
- Install and open it.
- In settings, add a remote channel list with your M3U link, and add the guide link if the app asks for one.
- Select the list and wait for channels to load.
Every app on this page asks for the same thing: either an Xtream Codes login (server address, username, password) or an M3U playlist link. IPTV Trends sends both as soon as your payment clears. If an app offers both, use the Xtream Codes login: it loads the channel groups and the TV guide together. See M3U vs Xtream Codes.
Xbox tips
- Wire the console with Ethernet; most Xbox setups are near the router anyway.
- Turn on Allow 4K and the right refresh rate in TV & display options.
- Set power mode to Standby so the app reopens quickly.

IPTV on Xbox: questions and answers
Yes, with an IPTV player from the Microsoft Store such as MyIPTV Player.
Some Store players do; check the app listing. All accept M3U links.
It works well, especially wired, but a dedicated stick has a better guide.
