IPTV With a Soundbar or AV Receiver: Setup and Fixes

Quick answer

Connect the streaming device to the TV and the soundbar to the TV's ARC or eARC port, then set the device audio to auto. If channels are silent or crackle, turn off passthrough in the IPTV app or set stereo or PCM. Use the soundbar's lip-sync setting if sound is late.
