IPTV no sound: how to fix missing audio
Picture but no sound on IPTV? Change the audio track, switch audio passthrough off, check the TV output and update the player. Fixes for every device.

Quick answer
If an IPTV channel has picture but no sound, open the player's audio track menu and pick another track, turn off audio passthrough (or Dolby Digital output) in the app and device settings, check the TV is not muted or set to the wrong output, and restart the app.

Silent channels usually come down to one of three things: the wrong audio track, a sound format your TV or soundbar does not accept, or a muted output somewhere in the chain.
Fixes in order
- Choose another audio track. During playback open the audio or track menu; some channels have several languages or formats.
- Turn off passthrough. In TiviMate or IPTV Smarters, disable audio passthrough so the app decodes sound itself.
- Change the device audio format. On Fire TV: Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Surround Sound > Stereo to test.
- Check the TV and soundbar. Make sure the right output is selected and nothing is muted.
- Switch the decoder between hardware and software.
- Update or reinstall the app.
No sound on some channels only
That usually means those channels broadcast a surround format your setup cannot pass. Turning off passthrough or setting stereo output fixes it in most cases.
Samsung and LG TVs
In the TV's sound settings, set Digital output audio format to PCM or Auto, and check whether HDMI eARC is on if you use a soundbar.
If none of this helps, message @host4k on Telegram with your device, app, the channel name and the exact error. That lets the team check the server side straight away.
