IPTV error 404: channel or playlist not found
IPTV error 404 means the app asked for a channel or playlist the server could not find. How to fix it by refreshing the playlist, re-adding the login and more.

Quick answer
Error 404 means the address the app requested does not exist on the server: the channel moved, the playlist link changed, or the app is using old data. Refresh or reload the playlist, re-add the login, clear the app cache, and check the server address is exactly as provided.
A 404 is a "not found" message. On IPTV it usually appears on a single channel after a lineup update, or on the whole list when the playlist address is wrong.
Causes
- The app is using an old channel list after the provider updated it.
- The server or M3U address has a typo or a missing part.
- A single channel was moved or renamed.
Fixes
- Refresh the playlist in the app (TiviMate: Settings > Playlists > Update).
- Clear the app cache and reopen.
- Check the server address, including http:// and the port if one was given.
- Remove and re-add the playlist.
- Use Xtream Codes instead of M3U if your app supports both; see M3U vs Xtream Codes.
If none of this helps, message @host4k on Telegram with your device, app, the channel name and the exact error. That lets the team check the server side straight away.
