IPTV channels not loading? 9 fixes that work
IPTV channels not loading or stuck on a black screen? Check your login, subscription, device date, DNS, ISP blocking, player settings and screen limits.

Quick answer
When IPTV channels will not load, check that your subscription is active and the login is typed exactly, set the correct date and time on the device, restart the device and router, change the player decoder, and make sure no other screen is using your connection. If nothing loads on any device, your internet provider may be blocking the server, and changing DNS or using a VPN can help.

Read the pattern first
| What you see | Most likely cause |
|---|---|
| Channel list will not load at all | Login, subscription or server address |
| List loads, every channel black | Connection limit, decoder, or ISP blocking |
| A few channels black, others fine | Those streams are down |
| Works on Wi-Fi at a friend's, not at home | Your internet provider or router |
1. Check the login and subscription
Re-type the username, password and server address exactly as issued, including http:// and any port. Check that the subscription has not expired. See the IPTV Trends login guide for where the details come from.
2. Set the correct date and time
A wrong date or time on the device can stop secure connections and guide data. Set the device to automatic date, time and time zone.
3. Restart device and router
Unplug both for ten seconds. This clears stuck connections and memory on streaming sticks.
4. Check the connection limit
If another screen in the house, or an app left open on another device, is already playing, a 1 device plan will refuse a second stream. Close the other player or move to a plan with more devices.
5. Change the decoder or player
Black screen with sound, or a spinning wheel on every channel, often clears when you switch between hardware and software decoding, or open the same channel in another player. See IPTV Smarters Pro setup guide and TiviMate setup guide.
6. Clear the app cache and reload
Clear the player's cache in the device settings, then reload the playlist or profile so the channel list is fetched fresh.
7. Change DNS
Some internet providers block IPTV servers by DNS. Setting the router or device to a public DNS service often restores the channel list.
8. Test a VPN
If channels load on mobile data or another network but not at home, your provider may be blocking or throttling the traffic. A reputable VPN with a nearby server usually gets around it.
9. Report it with details
If a few channels are down, it is on the stream side. Message support with the channel names, your device, app and the time it happened. For IPTV Trends that is @host4k on Telegram.
