How to install IPTV on an Insignia TV
Insignia TVs run Fire TV or Roku. Fire TV models install IPTV players with Downloader; Roku models need a stick. Full steps for both.

Quick answer
Most Insignia TVs are Fire TV editions, which install IPTV players the same way as a Fire TV Stick: install Downloader, allow unknown apps, then install a player and log in. Insignia Roku TVs cannot run full IPTV players, so add a stick.

Insignia is Best Buy's TV brand, and almost every recent model is a Fire TV edition. That is good news for IPTV: the TV itself can run the same players as a Fire TV Stick.
Insignia Fire TV: step by step
- Go to Find > Search and install Downloader.
- Open Settings > My Fire TV > About and click the TV name seven times to unlock developer options.
- In Developer options > Install unknown apps, turn on Downloader.
- Use Downloader to get your player (TiviMate or IPTV Smarters) from its maker's site.
- Open the player and enter your Xtream Codes login.
Every app on this page asks for the same thing: either an Xtream Codes login (server address, username, password) or an M3U playlist link. IPTV Trends sends both as soon as your payment clears. If an app offers both, use the Xtream Codes login: it loads the channel groups and the TV guide together. See M3U vs Xtream Codes.
Insignia Roku TV
Roku models cannot install full IPTV players. Read IPTV on Roku for the limits, then plug in a stick.
Tips for Insignia Fire TVs
