IPTV troubleshooting

In-depth troubleshooting guides for the problems that need more than a quick fix.

11 articles

This section holds the longer troubleshooting guides: the master troubleshooting page that routes any symptom to the right fix, the full list of IPTV error codes, and deep guides for buffering, channels that will not load, a TV guide that stays empty, and sound that drifts out of sync.

App-specific guides cover the players that generate the most support questions, with fixes for TiviMate, IBO Player and Smart STB that follow how each app actually works: login apps, website-upload apps and portal apps fail in different ways and need different first steps.

For quick, symptom-by-symptom answers on specific devices, see the problems and fixes section of the blog. If a problem survives every step, IPTV Trends customers can message @host4k on Telegram with the device, app and exact error.

Troubleshooting: questions

Use Ethernet, restart the router, clear the app cache, and check speed on the TV device itself.

Usually an M3U login without a guide link, an old guide download, or the wrong time zone.

Most come from the server: 401 and 403 are login or access, 404 is not found, 458 is a cut-off stream.
